At 12:30 AM, the police are alerted to a loud argument in a multi-family house in Tranås town. Outside an apartment, a 45-year-old man and an 18-year-old man are found. The younger man is suspected of having argued with a woman who lives in one of the apartments. He is suspected of narcotics possession as he has narcotics on him. He is also suspected of theft through burglary as he is believed to have taken items from a storage room. The older man is not suspected of any crime.

At 3:00 AM, the police are alerted to Eksjö town, where a man tries to enter a residence belonging to a woman he is acquainted with. The man is also believed to have threatened the woman. The police arrive at the scene and arrest the man, who is suspected of aggravated threats, attempted aggravated home invasion, and aggravated knife law offense. The man is 50 years old, and the woman is the same age.
