According to callers, an elderly woman was robbed of her bag by a lone perpetrator, who then fled the scene. Several units were alerted and were able to apprehend a suspect nearby. The man, who is in his mid-40s, was arrested, initially suspected of robbery and a serious offence under the knife law. No one was injured in connection with the incident.
