Since midnight, nine people in Umeå have been taken into custody under the Intoxicated Persons Act (LOB), four of whom were handed over to relatives. One person was taken from a bar in Umeå for testing after being suspected of being under the influence of narcotics.
Three people were taken into custody in Skellefteå, one of whom is suspected of vandalism after breaking a mirror at a bar in the city centre.

Police are dispatched to the university area in Umeå following an act of vandalism. One or more people are said to have broken a glass door on a building in the area. The scene is documented and a report of vandalism is filed. It is unclear who committed the act.

Police stop and check a car. The driver is reported for driving without a licence, as he is not authorised to drive. The suspect is a man in his 40s.

Police are alerted to a fight at a bar in the city centre. A young man in his 20s is suspected of assaulting another man. One person at the scene is taken into custody for intoxication.

Police stop and check a passenger car in Hammarängen. The driver, a man in his 20s, is taken for testing after being suspected of being under the influence of narcotics. A report is filed for driving under the influence of drugs and minor drug offences through personal use.
Other: Three wildlife accidents with no personal injuries were reported to the police during the night. They occurred in Skarvsjöby, Storuman Municipality, on the E4 at Sävar and on the E4 at Täfteböle, both in Umeå Municipality.
