
It has been a normal night in the region. Below follows a selection of events that we have handled.
Traffic Offence, Munkfors, 00.50
A teenage girl is suspected of driving without a license after being stopped in an A-tractor. The vehicle has been seized to check if it has been manipulated to be able to drive faster than the allowed speed.
Drink-Driving, Årjäng kl. 00.52
A driver, a boy in the older teenage years, has driven off the road along E18 near Årjäng intersection. A patrol notices the vehicle and intends to stop and check it but the driver chooses not to stop on the police officer's signal and drives away from the patrol, which starts a shorter pursuit before the on-duty officer orders them to stop. The patrol stops and when they have driven a bit further, they see the current vehicle lying in the ditch. The driver is suspected of gross drink-driving, gross carelessness in traffic and not stopping on the police officer's signal.
Harassment, Torsby kl. 01.47
A man in his 30s is suspected of harassment or minor assault on two men in their 20s after he gave both men a slap on the face at a restaurant in Sysslebäck.
Violence Against a Public Official, Karlstad kl. 01.53
A man in his 40s is suspected of a crime against a security guard at a restaurant in Tingvallastaden. The man was also heavily intoxicated and was taken into custody according to the Law on the Temporary Custody of Intoxicated Persons.
Aside from this, we have among other things checked five people or vehicles, taken into custody one person according to the Law on the Temporary Custody of Intoxicated Persons, handled five wildlife accidents without personal injury and handled two cases of mental illness.
