Summary of the police's work during Sommarfesten in Örnsköldsvik
The police have once again worked preventively through visibility and presence in and around the area as well as in other central Örnsköldsvik. As part of the security work and in order to be able to prosecute crimes, drones have been used – both the police's and the coast guard's.
There were many people out on the town both before, during and after Sommarfesten. The mood among the visitors to the event was perceived as good, but overall the level of intoxication was high.
Nothing in particular stood out so the police could focus on working with visibility, crime prevention and order maintenance. One person was turned away and a report regarding assault has been taken up.
The police who worked on Saturday again want to thank for cooperation with the organizer of Sommarfesten, security guards and the coast guard who served together with the police during the evening and night.
