A woman in her 70s has been hit by a passenger car in a parking lot in Vetlanda. The woman has been taken by ambulance to hospital; the extent of her injuries is unclear. The driver of the car left the scene, and the police are looking for them. 

13:46 The police have been in contact with the driver of the passenger car. No one has currently been notified of any suspicion of a traffic offence.
