
It has been a quiet night in the region without any major events. Below follows a selection of cases that we have handled.
Criminal Threat, Örebro at 00.15
Police are responding to some form of disturbance at a hotel in Söder. They meet several people who may have been involved in the disturbance and after speaking with them, they file a report on criminal threats where a 35-year-old man is suspected and a 30-year-old man is the victim. No one is being detained.
Assault, Ljusnarsberg at 00.50
A 60-year-old man is suspected of having hit and kicked his 50-year-old wife. The crime occurred in their residence. The man is arrested as suspected of assault in a close relationship. Police will conduct an interrogation with him and subsequently a prosecutor will make a decision on whether he should remain detained. There is no information that the woman has required emergency medical care.
In addition, we have also handled three cases of suspected drunk driving, one in Karlskoga, one in Örebro and one in Degerfors.
We have also checked 10 people or vehicles, handled six wildlife accidents without personal injury and handled two cases of mental illness.
