Here follow a selection of the night's events:
00.31 Assault, Skellefteå:
Police are contacted about a disturbance at a restaurant in central Skellefteå. A man is alleged to have hit another man. A police patrol is ordered to the scene and a report is filed regarding assault.
01.05 Fire, Umeå:
Alarm about a fire in a dumpster on Ersboda. There are no reports of anyone being injured. A police patrol is ordered to the scene. A report is filed regarding reckless endangerment.
01.46 Traffic accident, Umeå:
Police patrol East in town notices a man who fell off an electric scooter. The man is given a ride by the patrol to medical care. There is no suspicion of a crime in connection with the accident.
02.36 Assault, Norsjö:
A police patrol is ordered to an address in Norsjö where a man is alleged to have threatened and hit another man with some type of blunt object.
The people involved are acquaintances with each other.
The injured man is taken by the patrol to medical care. The suspected man is arrested and later detained by the prosecutor.
The incident is being investigated as aggravated threats and serious assault.
Other:
Police have handled a case in Lycksele municipality during the night where a man is suspected of assaulting a woman he has a relationship with. The man is arrested. There are no reports of the woman needing to be taken to medical care.
One person has, in addition to the above, been taken into custody for intoxication and one person has been taken for a blood test after suspicion of a narcotics offense.
Police have also performed several checks of people and vehicles that did not result in any suspicion of a crime.
Summary of the police's work with Motorveckan in Lycksele on Friday:
Motorveckan has taken place as expected with several disorderly conduct incidents and a high level of intoxication, however less than on Thursday with only two LOB handed over to another's care.
Fines have been issued and people have been turned away in order to prevent further disorderly conduct and to prevent or interrupt fights.
Two acts of vandalism have occurred.
Police have handled a DUI where an orderlies assisted. A suspect has been able to be identified and tested despite having run from the vehicle.
A number of narcotics offenses have also been handled.
Traffic police have been active during the afternoon and evening, which has resulted in several fines and other traffic measures.
