KL 00.03 Illegal entry, Sten Sturegatan, Gothenburg

Police were alerted to the scene due to two people having encountered two perpetrators in the garage of a multi-family house. They had observed the perpetrators earlier in the day and then seen that they seemed to be preparing a break-in. When they saw them again, the perpetrators tried to leave the scene on separate electric bicycles. One of the people who saw the two perpetrators managed to catch up to one of them and was able to bring him down to the ground and hold him. Police arrived and were able to secure the perpetrator, a 45-year-old man. The man is now suspected of illegal entry and was taken into custody according to the Law on the Taking into Custody of Intoxicated Persons. He will be questioned about the incident when he has sobered up.

l 02.31 Assault and sexual harassment, Österlånggatan, Mariestad

A man called the police to report that he had been hit in the face by a woman. Another person called the police to report that he had seen a man grab a woman's buttocks and that she had then hit him in the face. The man who grabbed the woman's buttocks is suspected of sexual harassment and the woman who hit the man in the face is suspected of assault. Both the man and the woman are 25 years old, it is unclear if they knew each other.

Kl 02.31 Violence against a public official, Resecentrum, Skövde

Police were alerted to the scene due to an officer being hit in the face with a fist. The person who hit the officer is a 50-year-old man and he is suspected of violence against a public official. The reason why he hit the officer is not known and it is unclear if the officer suffered any injuries. The man who delivered the blow was taken into custody for intoxication and was allowed to sober up at the police station and will then be questioned about the incident.

Police have also handled routine matters, such as checks of people and vehicles that did not result in any suspicion of a crime, wildlife accidents and traffic checks. No more serious crimes have come to the police's knowledge.
