Police are called to a residence in Mölndal municipality after reports of a disturbance. Following an investigation, a woman is apprehended suspected of assault. The complainant is a man she has a relationship with. The man is said to have received cuts on his face, but there are no reports that anyone needed to seek medical attention after the incident.

22:31, fraud – Gothenburg

A woman in her 80s calls the police, reporting that she has been the victim of a fraud. Earlier in the evening, she is said to have received an SMS from an unknown sender about a supposedly booked municipal service. When the woman calls the number, a fraud begins that ends with her handing over gold jewelry to a man who appears at the address.

The method used is similar to that which the police in Region Väst have received a large number of reports about in recent times. Those affected are often elderly, and the police's continued warning is to be critical of conversations/SMS about supposed bookings of services/goods that you do not recognize. Dare to be unpleasant – hang up and do not answer unknown SMS.
