22 September 07.00, Summary of the night, Västra Götaland County

9:36 PM Vandalism through fire, Flygvädersgatan, Gothenburg. An alarm was received by the police that smoke was coming from a car. According to the report, it is alleged that a person poured some liquid on a car, which started to smoke, but the car did not burn. There are witnesses who saw the person, who was masked, disappear from the scene. Evidence has been secured at the scene and the car was taken into custody for technical examination. A report was filed for vandalism through fire, unclear what damage has been done to the car.

1:54 AM Vandalism, Old Square, Tidaholm.  An unknown person has probably poured dish soap into the fountain, whereupon the entire fountain was full of bubbles. The municipality was contacted and the patrol filed a report on vandalism. No one has been arrested or suspected at this time.

2:54 AM Theft of vehicle, Gunnar Wennerbergs gata, Skara. A person called the police to report that he saw three people carrying away a moped. One of the people would have had an electric scooter. When the patrols arrived at the scene, some of the people ran away, one of them rode away on the electric scooter. A person, a 35-year-old man, was found in a stairwell and is suspected of theft of a moped. The other people got away.

5:35 AM Traffic accident, driving under the influence. Two passenger cars collided at traffic intersection 77, Tingstadsmotet, Gothenburg. It is unclear what happened, but one of the drivers, a 55-year-old man, is suspected of driving under the influence and reckless driving. The other driver, a 50-year-old woman, reported back pain. An ambulance was on the scene to check both people, but neither needed to be taken to the hospital for their injuries.

The police authority has also handled routine matters, such as checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime, wildlife accidents and traffic controls. No more serious crimes have come to the police's knowledge.
