Several patrols are dispatched to Vallby in Västerås following reports of an outdoor fight in which at least one person is said to have been injured.

At the scene, a person is found with injuries indicating that some kind of sharp object was used.

Two people are taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment and examination. Both were conscious and able to speak at the time. The extent of their injuries is otherwise unclear.

One person, a man in his 50s, is arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault. 

Police are working to establish the sequence of events and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
