21 July 07.54, Summary of the night, Jämtland County

A person has been taken into custody for being intoxicated. The police have also carried out a number of checks on individuals and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

Here follows a selection of the night's events:

During the night, a man in Ragunda municipality was arrested suspected of having assaulted, threatened and a woman he has a relationship with to leave a room. An interrogation is being held and a prosecutor is being contacted for a decision on whether the man, who is in his mid-20s, should be detained or not. 

22:30 Fire, Bräcke
A report of a fire in a building is received. It is a warehouse on an industrial site. No one is said to have been on the premises. It is unclear how the fire started and it will be investigated. An investigation into suspected arson is initiated. The site will be cordoned off as soon as possible for later examination by the police's technicians.

06:54 Traffic accident, Östersund
A cyclist and an e-bike rider were involved in an accident in Östersund's city center. One person is taken to medical care by ambulance. The police are working on the case.

A wild animal accident has been reported to the police during the night and morning. There are no reports of personal injuries.
