Under the night between 22.00 and 07.00, the police regional command center has handled a number of 60 events related to Östergötlands län.

Assault, Motala: At 22.50, the police are alerted to a loud argument at Varamonstranden, Motala. On the scene, a 25-year-old man is found, who has injuries to the face and head. The man is taken to hospital by ambulance, but the situation is assessed as stable and not life-threatening. According to reports to the police, a dozen people are said to have been involved in the incident. 
The police are checking a number of people on the scene, as well as stopping and checking vehicles in connection with the location.  The incident is being investigated as aggravated assault. During the night, no one has been charged with suspicion of a crime.
