The police have received several calls about fraud in Helsingborg and Höganäs. The fraudster calls the victim and claims to be from a bank, giving a name and a made-up code word. They then go to the victims’ homes and collect bank cards and jewellery.

The police are now warning that more people are at risk of being affected. Don’t be afraid to be rude to strangers on the phone, and always report fraud to the police.
