23:26 Gross Assault, Norrköping

Police are called to a multi-family house in Hageby due to an ongoing assault. In one of the apartments, a man in his 60s is found with relatively severe facial injuries that he claims were inflicted by a neighbor when he opened his apartment door. The neighbor is said to have knocked on the door and then assaulted the man. The suspected perpetrator, a man in his 30s, is apprehended in an adjacent apartment and is now suspected of gross assault. The complainant is taken to the hospital. Police have conducted an interrogation, a crime scene investigation, and a door-to-door search. The suspect is now detained and the case is being handled by the prosecutor.

23:41 Fire, Motala

A report of a fire in a stable in Nykyrka is received. When the fire department arrives, the stable is fully engulfed in flames and the assessment is made to focus on securing adjacent buildings and allowing the stable to burn down. All horses were evacuated in time and no one was injured in the fire. There is no suspicion of a crime.
