03:02 Police were alerted to an address in Enstaberga, Nyköping, due to a caller hearing explosions. When police arrived at the scene, an object was found outside a property. The area has been cordoned off.

At present, there is nothing to suggest that there have been any personal injuries or material damage. An investigation into malicious destruction of property has been initiated.

NBS has been contacted for assessment of the object according to routine, and the police have taken the object into custody.

Police have carried out door-to-door questioning and inventoried camera material in the area.

A forensic examination has been conducted to secure and document any potential traces at the scene.

No one is suspected or arrested in the matter.

By 11 o'clock, the cordon in the area has been lifted, and the police have left the scene.
