Here follow a selection of the night's events:

23.28 Wildlife Accident, Skellefteå:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a car and a deer on Highway 95, Degerbyn. No personal injuries are reported. The deer died in connection with the accident and a hunter is called out to take care of it.

00.37 Wildlife Accident, Robertsfors:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a truck and a deer on E4, Djäkneboda. No personal injuries are reported. The deer died in connection with the accident and a hunter is called out to take care of it.

00.19 Wildlife Accident, Umeå:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a car and a deer on E4, Sävar. No personal injuries are reported. It is unclear what happened to the deer and a hunter is called out.

Other:
A person has been taken into custody for intoxication.

Police have also carried out several checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

Update 09.03:

23.57 Theft, Umeå:
Police are ordered to Hössjö due to a suspected ongoing theft of wheels. Two suspected men have been seen leaving the scene in a car. The car is stopped on Klockarbäcken in Umeå and the men are arrested.

A report has been filed regarding theft.

After questioning, the prosecutor has decided that the men, both in their 20s, should be detained.

The wheels have not yet been found. They may be in the terrain or near the road west of Umeå. The police would like to hear from anyone who may have found them to contact the police on 114 14 or via the police website.
