16 May 08.03, Summary of the night, Jämtland County

Here follow a selection of the night's events:

00.15 Östersund:
Police patrol ordered to Odenslund where it is reported that high music is being played from a vehicle. Two vehicles are turned away from the scene.

00.29 Break-in, Östersund:
Police ordered to Lugnvik due to a suspected ongoing break-in at a storage facility. Two suspected men are found. They are apprehended in accordance with the Law on the Detention of Intoxicated Persons. A report is filed regarding vandalism or attempted break-in.

02.03 Traffic offense, Östersund:
Two people in Marielund receive a fine for disorderly conduct for riding the same electric bicycle.

02.48 Driving under the influence of narcotics, Östersund:
At a stop and check of a vehicle in Odenslund, the driver blows positively in the police's sieve instrument and is also suspected of being under the influence of narcotics. The driver is taken along for a blood test. Suspected narcotics are found on the driver. A report is filed regarding gross driving under the influence and minor narcotics offense (use and possession).

03.56 Fire, Strömsund:
Alarm about a fire in a villa southeast of Strömsund. Police patrol ordered to the scene. A person is said to have been in the villa. At present, there are no reports that the person needed medical attention. A report is filed regarding a fire without suspicion of a crime.

Other:
A person, in addition to the above, has been apprehended between 00.00 and 07.00 for drunkenness and a person has been taken in for a blood test due to suspicion of narcotics offense.

Police have also carried out a number of checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.
