A person is said to have been struck by a car.

The car has left the accident scene.

A police patrol is ordered to the scene.

The person struck, who is awake and able to speak, is taken to medical care by ambulance with unknown injury status.

An interrogation with witnesses is held.

Police later arrest a 70-year-old man on another location who is suspected of driving the car.

The incident is being investigated, among other things, as driving under the influence, reckless driving, and fleeing from a traffic accident scene.

The man is no longer under arrest.
