18:28 Police carried out a search of a residence in Marielund, Norrköping. The purpose was to arrest a man suspected of aggravated assault.

During the operation and arrest, the police used a stun grenade. Residents in the area have probably therefore heard bangs, but the public was never in any danger.

The man, who is in his 40s, has now been arrested by the police. The aggravated assault is said to have taken place earlier, and the police press service cannot provide further details, citing the preliminary investigation.
