23.30 a car is stopped and checked on county road 860 in Nässjö. The driver, a man in his 60s, has no valid driver's license and is therefore suspected of unauthorized driving.

05.45 the police are alerted to an assault in an apartment in Vetlanda. In the apartment, a man in his 30s has injuries caused by a weapon. He is awake and able to speak. A woman in her 30s who is in the apartment is arrested, suspected of aggravated assault. The parties involved are familiar with each other from before.

Theft from a motor vehicle, Gislaved: Yesterday, a theft of electronics from a forestry machine outside Burseryd in Gislaved was reported. What is supposed to have been stolen includes GPS equipment and the control panel. The estimated value is currently 200 000 to 300 000 kronor. The theft is supposed to have occurred sometime between 12:00 on Wednesday and 10:00 on Thursday. The police will carry out a crime scene investigation to secure any possible evidence.
