Police were alerted to an address in Kumla after a man was injured with a sharp object. The man, in his 40s, was taken to hospital with unclear injury status. A man in his 30s was apprehended on the scene and was initially suspected of attempted murder.

Work is ongoing in the matter and no further information can be provided at this time.

The suspect is being held and the classification has been changed to aggravated assault.
