Police have handled a total of 95 cases in Östergötland County between 22:00 and 07:00. No major incidents have come to the police's knowledge during the night. 

Severe Arson in Norrköping

22:29 The police were alerted to Ektorp. According to attentive citizens, young perpetrators had lit something flammable near a door to a residential building. They then left the scene. No person was injured.
The crime scene was cordoned off for technical examination. The police are investigating the incident as severe arson. After the incident, several interviews were conducted with callers and checked individuals. What this brings to the investigation today is unclear.

Assault in Linköping

00:00 The police were alerted to Trädgårdstorget in Linköping due to an assault. Several people had jointly attacked another man. He was taken by ambulance with unclear injury status awake and able to speak.
The police worked successfully internally with the camera group, which could contribute to the investigation with filmed material.
A preliminary investigation was opened on assault, interference with justice, unlawful threats, and vandalism. 
The work continues with the search for suspects.

Break-in in Tannefors

06:27 The police were alerted to Köpetorpsgatan due to a break-in.  No perpetrator was found. Computer equipment was taken. The scene is documented and searched for clues during the day. At present, no suspect is identified.
