The regional police headquarters has handled around 120 cases between 22.00-07.00 that concern Östergötland County.

22:08 The police were alerted to a residence in Malmslätt, Linköping, due to a man in his 30s acting verbally threatening. A woman in her 30s was also present in the residence. When the police arrived at the scene, the man did not voluntarily come out. Due to this, the police chose to use a distraction grenade and then entered the residence. No person has suffered physical harm and the man in his 30s has been arrested suspected of unlawful threats. However, the arrest was lifted during the night after questioning both the complainant and the suspect.

00:18 SOS alarm about a fire from a garbage room in Skäggetorp, Linköping. According to the alarm, it is smoke-filled but there are no flames. The police have been on the scene and a report of damage through fire will be written. There is no suspect.

02:54 SOS alarm about a car fire on Profilvägen in Finspång. According to the alarm, two parked cars are burning and there is a risk of spreading to other cars. The police have been on the scene and a total of three cars have been damaged as a result of the fire. A report of damage through fire will be written. There is no suspect in the case.

In addition, the police have had cases of drunkenness, game accidents, traffic offenses, as well as various checks on their own initiative or after an alarm from the public that have not led to anything serious.
