22:05 Fire in a villa, Hällesåkersvägen, Lindome
Police are called to the address due to a fire in a villa. A resident, a 55-year-old man, has managed to get out and is reported to have no injuries. In connection with the property, several gas cylinders were found which the rescue service managed to remove, but the house was quickly engulfed in flames and could not be saved. The rescue service had to focus on protecting adjacent properties. It is unclear how the fire started and a technical investigation will be carried out when possible. A report has been filed for arson.

00:32 Theft through break-in, Klippinggränd, Uddevalla
The police receive a report of a break-in in a villa. It is the property owner who calls in. He has seen a man leave the property but who is now in the garage. The police are quickly on the scene and can apprehend the man nearby. It turns out that he stole a moped but threw it a bit further away. The man is suspected of theft through break-in and minor narcotics offense.

01:15 Vandalism and theft from a vehicle, Flatåsskolan, Gothenburg
A complainant calls the police to report that a man is throwing objects at the windows of Flatåsskolan. The police find the man and when he is checked, the patrol finds objects that make it likely that the man has broken into a car and stolen things. The man, who is 45 years old, is suspected of theft through break-in of a vehicle and vandalism as the patrol found two broken windows at the school.

04:56. Domestic violence, Östra Gothenburg
The police are called to a residence as neighbors have called to report that a man has physically abused a woman he is in a relationship with. The abuse is said to have occurred with kicks and punches, and he is also said to have spat on her. The man who is found nearby is arrested, suspected of domestic violence and harassment.

The police authority has also handled routine matters, such as checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime, wildlife accidents and traffic controls.
