13 March 07.15, Summary of the night, Västernorrland County

Here follow a selection of the night's events:

23.47 Traffic control, Sundsvall:
At a traffic control on E4, Njurunda, two drivers are given an order to pay a fine for speeding offence.

03.27 Sundsvall:
Police are ordered to Östermalm where it is reported that something is going on around parked cars. The man tries to run away from the scene, but is stopped and arrested. On the man, goods are found that are suspected to have been stolen from a parked car. This is seized. A report is filed regarding theft.

05.56 Break-in, Örnsköldsvik:
Police patrol is ordered to a kiosk in Själevad where damage has been done to window panes. No perpetrator is found on the scene. It is unclear if anything has been stolen. The kiosk is cordoned off for technical investigation. A report is filed regarding theft through break-in.

Other:
Three people have been taken into custody according to the Law on the Deprivation of Liberty, the law on the deprivation of liberty of intoxicated persons. One of these is suspected of minor narcotics offence (personal use).

Police have also conducted checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime.
