01:35, Traffic Offense – Gothenburg
Alarm received about a van that is obstructing traffic in the Marieholmstunneln. The van appears to have been involved in a collision. All indications are that the van collided at an earlier time and was dumped in the tunnel. The van is being towed from the scene and a report is being made regarding unauthorized departure from a traffic accident. No suspect at present.
00:30, Threat Against Public Official – Ale
Conductor reports police about a threatening person who refuses to pay for themselves. The threats are said to have been verbal. The train is currently at Älvängens resecentrum and is waiting for a patrol. On the scene, a man in his 30s is secured who is suspected of threatening a public official, narcotics offense for personal use, and petty fraud. He is taken in for sampling.
22:10, Knife Law – Gothenburg
Members of the public who are at Azaleadalen call in and report that there is a man on the scene who is believed to be intoxicated and is thought to be carrying some form of knife-like object. The informant perceives the man as threatening. Police arrive at the scene and search the man, who is then handcuffed. The man, who is in his 55s, is arrested suspected of gross offense against the knife law, aggravated threat, and narcotics offense possession. The man is said to have threatened two teenage boys who were on the scene. No one was injured in connection with the incident.
