Two people have been taken into custody for intoxication. The police have also carried out a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

00:08 Drunken driving, Sundsvall
Police stop and check a car in Sundsvall. Suspicion arises that the driver, a man in his 40s, is under the influence of narcotics. A blood test is performed and the result will show if a crime has been committed. A report is to be drawn up regarding suspected drunken driving and minor narcotics offence, personal use.

05:04 Traffic accident, Sundsvall
A single-vehicle accident with a car has occurred on county road 663 at Blåberget. The two people who were travelling in the car are taken to hospital for examination. There is no suspicion of a crime in connection with the accident.

A wild animal accident has been reported to the police during the night. There are no reports of personal injuries.
