23:30 False SMS, Borås
Sent in the evening, a few people contact the police and report that they have received SMS that appear to be from Borås Animal Park. In the SMS, it is possible to read that lions have escaped from the animal park and that the public should stay indoors. The SMS are confirmed to be false. The police have temporarily assessed the incident as disorderly conduct, at present it is unclear which classification the report will fall under.

An alarm is received by SOS regarding a fire on the facade of a garage on Valhallavägen in Elseberg. The fire is extinguished and there is reason to assume that the fire was set intentionally. The area is cordoned off for a technical investigation. A report is filed regarding arson, there are no reports of personal injuries.

A person calls the police and reports seeing flashlights at Keillers park. They also hear a metallic sound. A patrol is sent to the address and finds copper in bags. Two men in their 45s are suspected of theft.

At 4 o'clock, a break-in is discovered in a storage room/workshop on Tvetgatan. According to the caller's report, a person had entered through the door. The suspect, a man, leaves the address in the direction of a parking lot. A patrol searches the area with a dog without finding anything of interest. A report is filed regarding theft and vandalism. At present, it is unclear what was stolen.
