09 October 07.55, Summary of the night, Östergötland County

Under the night, the police command center has handled a 60-some events in Östergötland's county, between 22.00 and 07.00. Here follows a selection of the night's events:

23.04, single-car accident: SOS is alerted to a single-car accident on county road 900 near Åby in Norrköping. A man in his 18-year-old age has swerved for wildlife and then driven into a stone. The driver received minor injuries that are being checked by the healthcare. The police suspect no crime.

03.42, preparation for serious assault: Police are alerted to an address in central Motala where several people appear to be trying to break into an apartment, with the help of bludgeons. When the police arrive at the scene, two men in their 35-year-old age are found near the apartment. The men are apprehended, suspected of attempted serious assault. 

04.12, theft through break-in: Police are alerted to a store in Stenavadet, Motala, after a security company received an alarm from motion detectors. There is significant damage to the entrance door but it is unclear if anything has been stolen. On the scene, the police have checked several vehicles and people, but have not identified any suspected perpetrator.
