Shortly after 18:00, the police were alerted by the public after a man with a weapon-like object was seen on a train headed towards Linköping. The police initiated a train stop in connection with this and ordered several units to the train station in Linköping to check the person in question as the train rolled in. When the train arrived, they got on and were soon able to secure the suspected person. It was then also determined that the man had some kind of replica or toy gun on him, and nothing loaded. All other passengers were also checked in connection with the stop, and no one was injured. The man was taken into custody in accordance with the law on the detention of intoxicated persons.
