A boy is suspected of a crime in Vivalla.
The police receive several calls about hearing bangs that sounded like some form of a weapon being fired.
Several patrols have been on the scene and they have located a boy in the younger teenage years who was carrying some form of toy gun driven by carbon dioxide. The police suspect that it was he who fired shots with this gun.
This type of carbon dioxide gun may not be used by anyone under 18 years old unless an adult is present, so the boy is suspected of minor offense against the firearms law. However, he is not criminally responsible and the case will be handed over to the social services.
The carbon dioxide gun has been seized.
No person was injured in connection with this incident.
