Police were informed that a boy attempted to run away from caregivers at a youth home outside Uddevalla, in what is believed to be a breakout attempt. The caregivers, however, managed to catch up to the boy and keep him in custody.

A car was seen leaving the scene in connection with the incident. Police are working on the case to create a picture of the event and investigate whether a crime was committed.
