The driver who was driving on E18 has in the vicinity of Akalla driven into a red light. He has since driven further north where he drove into another car at the Stäket traffic intersection. He has since fled the accident scene. No one has however been injured in connection with this and the police have among other things with the help of a spike mat managed to stop the reckless driver a short time after the accident in Stäket.

Together the 20-year-old driver is suspected of fleeing a traffic accident, driving under the influence of drugs, gross reckless driving and gross negligence in traffic.
