A person has called the woman, claiming to work for a loan brokerage and alleged that someone has taken out a loan in the woman's name. The scammer says that a person from the loan brokerage will come to the woman's home, presumably with the intention of appropriating valuables or a bank card. A police patrol has spoken to the woman and subsequently filed a report on attempted elder abuse.
