Police regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a number of 40 cases related to Södermanland County.

Violent man apprehended by police 
23:30 police are informed of a somewhat unclear case regarding an assault at or near Rådhustorget in Eskilstuna. A man and a woman were allegedly attacked by another man. This man also expressed threatening things in connection with being violent against the two affected. Police later contact the identified, who is apprehended for intoxication. The man, in his 20s, is now suspected of two cases of assault and unlawful threats. None of the affected are said to have suffered serious injury.  Man attacked outdoors
A man in his 20s is allegedly completely unprovoked attacked and beaten by another outdoors in Borgmästarhagen in Nyköping. This is said to have occurred sometime around 01:00. Patrol has held an interview with the victim and also talked to the suspect, who is a man of approximately the same age. The incident is classified as assault of normal degree and the plaintiff is not said to have suffered serious injury, but was checked at the hospital after the incident.

Aside from this, the police have handled reports of fights and made other routine checks on their own initiative or after a report from the public.
