The police have initiated a criminal investigation into arson in connection with an apartment fire on Kungsholmen.

A person has been taken to hospital by ambulance. The apartment where it has burned is cordoned off for a forensic investigation.

During the actual fire progression, parts of the building were evacuated, but the residents were allowed to return to their homes when the fire had subsided and the building had been ventilated.
