At 07.45, the police are alerted that a car has been stolen in central Jönköping. The car is said to have been stolen from a parking lot near a gym. 
A police patrol sees the car and a pursuit begins.

The pursuit first goes north towards Mullsjö, then south to Jönköping.

Several patrols join in, as they can join in at different places.

Just before 09.00, the car is found parked on a parking lot in Råslätt, however, without a driver.

After investigative measures on the scene, the police can identify two suspected persons in an apartment nearby Råslätt. The persons are a woman in her 40s and a man in his 30s. Both are apprehended by the police.

The classification of the crime is currently gross theft, reckless driving, unauthorized driving, and not having stopped at a police officer's signal.
