23:10, assault – Mariestad
Police called to a restaurant in central Mariestad after reports of an assault. The complainant is said to be a woman who received a slap from an unknown man. After information gathering, a man in his 20s is checked who may be suspected of being under the influence of narcotics. The man is taken for a blood test. A report of minor assault, unlawful residence and narcotics offense is drawn up after the incident. 

01:12, assault – Vänersborg
Patrol is called to Drottninggatan in central Vänersborg after reports of a fight. It is said to be several young people involved. When the patrol arrives at the scene, the situation is calmer. Several people are checked. A woman and a man, both in their 20s, have minor facial injuries and are considered complainants in a report of assault/minor assault that is drawn up. There is no suspect yet in the case.  

04:08, attempted murder – Bollebygd
Alarm is received about a injured man in Olsfors. Police and ambulance are called to the scene. A man in his 45s is found outdoors. He is awake and able to speak, but is taken to hospital with an injury that is not considered life-threatening. An investigation into attempted murder has been initiated and an area has been cordoned off for a technical examination. There is no suspect yet in the case. 

That night, assault – Falköping
Alarm is received about a suspected crime in a close relationship at an address in Falköping municipality. A man is said to have hit a woman in the face and caused damage to her outer door. The man is then said to have gone to an area near a railway track. Police search the area without finding him. A report of assault has been drawn up. There are no reports that the woman needed to seek medical attention for her injuries.
