The talks in Istanbul were the second round in just over two weeks. At the first meeting in Istanbul, the parties agreed on a prisoner exchange of 1,000 prisoners of war and civilians on each side.
Even during today's meeting, a prisoner exchange was on the table, and according to Zelensky, they are now preparing for a new exchange of prisoners of war.
During the meeting, the parties are said to have agreed to hand over all seriously injured soldiers, all soldiers between 18 and 25 years old, and 6,000 remains of fallen soldiers.
Handed over list of children
The Ukrainian side is said to have handed over a list of children taken captive by Russian forces and authorities, with demands that they be returned to Ukraine.
"We are talking about hundreds of children that Russia has illegally, forcibly displaced, or held back in temporarily occupied areas," he wrote.
Ukraine is said to have proposed an unconditional ceasefire, but Russia is said to have rejected the proposal. Moscow is instead said to have put forward a proposal for a partial ceasefire for a period of two to three days in specific areas along the front.
According to AFP, the parties also exchanged plans for how peace can be achieved, the Russian plan is said to have included a list of demands on Ukraine.
Meets many countries
The Ukrainian delegation in Istanbul was led by Defense Minister Rustem Umjerov. Russia's delegation was led, as before, by President Vladimir Putin's adviser Vladimir Medinsky.
At the same time, Volodymyr Zelensky is in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius, where he has met with government representatives from countries on NATO's northern and eastern flanks, and Secretary-General Mark Rutte. Sweden's Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (M) participated.

Ukraine claims to have proposed that a third meeting should take place at the end of the month.
