+ Djurgården's first loss
Växjö won the home game against Djurgården with a whole 4–0, and now tops the SHL table on goal difference after four games played.
Dennis Rasmussen became a two-goal scorer after being responsible for both the 1–0 and 4–0 goals. Brogan Rafferty and Felix Robert also became goal scorers in the match.
The loss was Djurgården's first since their return to SHL this season after two initial wins. The Stockholm team has, together with Frölunda, one game less played than the remaining teams.
+ Still tough for HV71
HV71 led before the third period with 2–1 in the away game against Malmö. But the home team turned with two quick goals early in the third period to 3–2.
Thus, HV71 has four straight losses in four matches in SHL, and is second to last ahead of Linköping.
+ Loss for the reigning champions
Luleå also lost their match, against Frölunda away. The reigning SHL champions took the lead in the first period, but Frölunda equalized quickly and could then turn and win 4–1.
The loss is Luleå's second straight after two initial wins.
+ Brynäs won on penalties
It took a penalty shootout between Brynäs and Örebro to get a decision, after Örebro equalized late in the third period plus a goalless overtime period.
Both teams scored one and missed two of the first three penalties. Brynäs star acquisition Nicklas Bäckström could have decided with his penalty, but missed.
Instead, Brynäs' Jack Kopacka decided with penalty number four, after Örebro missed their fourth penalty. Bäckström went pointlessly from the match.
