Inflation in the USA rose in September to 3.0 percent, according to the delayed figures. The probability is now increasing for an additional interest rate cut from the American central bank.

Inflation is indeed rising slightly, but less than expected. Analysts had on average expected an inflation rate on an annual basis of 3.1 percent.

In August, the price increase rate (CPI) was 2.9 percent.

Next week, the US central bank, the Federal Reserve, will make a new interest rate decision. The assessments were already before today's figure that it will be a reduction.

On the stock exchanges, the statistics were received positively. The increase in Stockholm was strengthened somewhat and ahead of the opening on the US exchanges, the futures contracts are rising in advance.

The figures would have been presented a week ago, but the shutdown of the US government apparatus due to budget disputes has delayed the publication. The White House announces that it is likely that no inflation figures will be released next month due to the shutdown, writes Bloomberg.
