Those arrested are accused of organizing classes in illegal organizations, teaching children IS ideology, collecting money for the terrorist group, and attempting to recruit new IS members.
The arrests were made during coordinated raids in three provinces, with a primary focus on Istanbul. In addition to four rifles and 90 rounds of ammunition, police also seized documents and digital material.
Last week, Turkish police arrested over 300 people in 47 provinces in raids, including those targeting IS suspects, according to the country's Interior Ministry.
