Politicians:
Donald Trump's predecessor Joe Biden, as well as his opponent in the presidential election Kamala Harris, will be in attendance. Former presidents such as Barack Obama and Bill Clinton will also be present, remarkably, Michelle Obama will not attend.
Among foreign names, the right-wing politician, Argentina's president Javier Milei, a clear Trump supporter, stands out. Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni from the far-right party Brothers of Italy, who recently visited Trump, has also received an invitation. According to the website Politico, it is not clear whether she will attend. One who has been asked but declined due to a scheduling conflict is Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, also close to Trump. The German far-right politician Alice Weidel has also been invited but declined.
Business leaders:
Trump's ally Elon Musk is expected to be present, as well as Amazon's CEO Jeff Bezos and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. The latter two have been noted for becoming more "Trump-friendly" in connection with the presidential campaign. Bezos, who among other things owns The Washington Post, decided that the newspaper would not support Kamala Harris in the election, and Zuckerberg has made changes regarding fact-checking on Instagram and Facebook. The current system is to be replaced by a similar one found on Elon Musk's X.
Celebrities:
According to the entertainment website TMZ, influencer Jake Paul has been invited along with his brother Logan. Jake Paul recently had a highly publicized boxing match against former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. Dana White, CEO of the MMA organization UFC, supported Trump in his previous presidential candidacy and will be present this time as well. Caitlyn Jenner, known from the reality series about the Kardashian family, has also been invited, according to TMZ.
Not everyone has chosen to accept, however. Actress Roseanne Barr, as well as TV personality Dr Phil, are two people who have declined to attend, according to TMZ.
