It can happen as soon as April, reports Reuters. In total, it's about around 240,000 Ukrainians who fled Ukraine after Russia's full-scale invasion more than three years ago.
The information follows the escalated verbal exchanges between Ukraine and the USA over the past few weeks, which intensified significantly when Trump chose to throw out Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyj from the White House last week.
When Trump is asked about the matter at a press conference, he is evasive.
We're not out to harm anyone, especially not them, he says and continues:
I'm looking at it, and some people think it's appropriate and others don't. And I'll make a decision pretty soon, but we're not out to harm them, especially not Ukrainians who have been through a lot.
Since Trump came to power in January, he has launched a comprehensive effort against migrants. The Trump administration has plans to revoke the legal status of more than 1.8 million migrants, writes Reuters.
