With several top horses at his disposal, the 43-year-old continues to achieve the results required to keep ahead of the competition.

Next, he will compete in the World Cup in La Coruña, Spain, over the weekend. His national team colleagues Wilma Hellström, Petronella Andersson, and Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli will also participate.

The following weekend, von Eckermann will face the prestigious Top 10 in Geneva, a competition open to the top ten riders in the world ranking. Then, the Swedish riding star will face, among others, world number two Steve Guerdat, Switzerland, and world number three Ben Maher, Great Britain.

Peder Fredricson is the second-best Swedish rider on the latest ranking, in 20th place. Rolf-Göran Bengtsson advances from 87th to 75th place.
