A superior victory on Saturday – four misses on Sunday. Biathlete Sebastian Samuelsson shot away in the wind in the Swedish premiere in Idre. Today it was a pancake, he tells SVT.

Due to a lack of snow, there were double sprint competitions in Idre, but Sebastian Samuelsson could not repeat Saturday's success when the conditions were clearly windier.

Samuelsson shot hard in the opening prone shooting, but in the standing shooting he missed four times and had a total of 88 seconds in extra time. The Swede had to settle for eighth place – 42 seconds behind the winner Lucas Fratzscher, Germany.

"I was very charged. I had a similar feeling as yesterday," Samuelsson tells SVT.

After a flawless prone shooting, he shot away at the standing position.

"I don't get a good flow at all. When I missed two, I get stressed and don't handle the situation the way I want. It's sad with that series during an otherwise good weekend with three zeros," he says.

Martin Ponsiluoma also had four misses, but was faster than his teammate and became the best Swede in fourth place. The second best Swede was Victor Berglund (one miss) in sixth place.

Germans David Zobel, second, and Johannes Kühn took care of the other two podium places.
