Marius Borg Høiby's lawyer criticizes a new book about the Norwegian "bonus prince". Now Bonnier publishing house is backing down. The book contributes to his premature conviction, says Elias Christensen.

The book "Out of Control: The Revealing of Marius Borg Høiby" is published by Bonnier Publishing and is written by investigative journalist Kjersti Kvam. She examines the court case surrounding the scandal-ridden son of Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit.

But defense attorney Elias Christensen says the book contains several inaccuracies. Marius Borg Høiby is now considering legal action.

"We are very concerned that he will not receive a fair trial in the upcoming trial," says Christensen.

Now Bonnier is backing down and promising to introduce corrections in future editions of the book.

The indictment is a legal document, which we have tried to simplify and make more understandable for the reader in the book. Unfortunately, mistakes have been made during that work. We deeply regret that, says the head of the proposal, Alexander Even Henriksen, to Norwegian TV2.

The book was supposed to be released on November 18, but is being released today due to high advance interest. The first editions are already sold out, according to Bonnier.

The book is the second in a short time about Crown Princess Mette-Marit's eldest son Marius Borg Høiby, who risks a long prison sentence after being charged with a total of 32 crimes, including four rapes.

The main hearing in the case begins on February 3 and is expected to last six weeks.
