+ A masterful ending
Malmö FF ended the season in style, as befits a Swedish champion. Lennart Johansson's trophy was lifted to the sky after the 2-1 home win against Brommapojkarna. MFF won the Allsvenskan with eleven points ahead of Hammarby. The 24th Swedish Championship gold means that MFF qualifies for the Champions League this summer.
+ They also play in Europe
Hammarby had already secured a qualifying spot for the Conference League next year with their second place. AIK snatched third place after a 5-1 home win against Halmstad at the Strawberry arena. Djurgården did their job at home against IFK Norrköping – a 3-1 win – and fourth place can bring European games. But then Malmö FF, Hammarby or AIK must win the cup in the spring.
+ Attendance record
37,229 spectators attended AIK's home finale. This gives an average attendance of 28,589 spectators at home. More have never previously followed an Allsvenskan team during a season. The previous record was held by Hammarby with 26,372 from the 2022 season. An average of 400 spectators short of breaking the Nordic record. This is held by FC Copenhagen with an average of 28,860 per home game, set in the 2022-23 season.
+ Top scorer
Brommapojkarna's Nikola Vasic stayed at 17 goals and that was enough to win the top scorer title. MFF's Isaac Kiese Thelin stayed at 15 goals, one more than the duo Ioannis Pittas, AIK, and Deniz Hümmet, Djurgården. Sebastian Nanasi managed ten goal-assisting passes in 17 matches. This figure was enough to win the assist league for the former MFF player.
+ Gets a new chance
IFK Värnamo's 0-0 home draw against Elfsborg was not enough. Now, a qualifying playoff awaits in a double encounter with Landskrona, third in Superettan. IFK Göteborg barely avoided qualifying with an extremely small margin.
